The Lost and Found quest line involves tracing multiple clues to find a missing person or an important item. On this page of our Dead Island 2 guide we show where to begin and how to successfully complete Missing: Laura quest.
The quest's starting location
To initiate the quest, travel to Serling Hotel in Ocean Avenue and look up the missing persons' board.
Further stages of the quest
After picking up the mission, travel to Venice Beach. Start by looking for clues on Laura at the police station.
While inside, watch out for a lot of rope traps and zombies. While exploring the police station, you'll find further clues related to the mission, such as an Access Card and Arrest Notes of Detainees. You can find them at the bulletin board.
The notes will shed some light on Laura's fate, while the access card, on the other hand, will allow you to move more freely around the police department.
Also, there is a Secure Storage Room Key around - storage is a great place to farm ammo and firearms. A memo at the police station called Keeper of The Keys will reveal that the key to Laura's cell has been taken by Commissioner Malloy. Your next destination is Venice Hot Dogs (the marker will appear on your map).
Enter the building to encounter a zombified Commissioner Malloy. Kill him to get the key to Cell 01.
The final step is to return to the police station and open the cell where Laura is detained.
Once the cell is open, you need to defeat zombified Laura and Emily.
Rewards
Successfully completing the task yields 1.500 XP. Additionally, you'll learn the fate of Laura and Emily through a Journal called Crying Wolf.
