Strike Force 05: SECOND CHANCE | Strike Force: Challenges CoD: BO II Guide

Attention! You don't have to complete the mission to pass the challenge - you have to lose (Mission Failed) or win (Mission Complete), but you can't leave it by exiting it (Quit).

 

Eliminate Enemy Personnel (x10) as HVI

HVI is your target. When you find Karma, start playing as her and begin to kill enemies. You just have to be careful, because if you die, the mission will end in failure. This challenge can be combined with some other ones (e.g. melee or headshots). Karma is armed with a knife (first picture above) and a gun, but you can change the latter into any other weapon, which you should definitely do (second picture above).

Eliminate Enemy Personnel (x10) as VTOL Turret Gunner

A very easy challenge. If you played the mission through in accordance with the mission description in the guide, it should be yours already. If not, then discover about three safehouses (then the enemies will start running around the map, not hide in the apartments), switch to the VTOL and start the massacre. Look out for the enemies indicated by red corners of the squares and eliminate all of them (picture above) until the message about passing the challenge appears.

 

Melee Enemy Personnel (x10)

You should probably already know how to pass this type of challenge (picture above). Pass it, of course, on Recruit level.

Eliminate Enemy Personnel (x15) with Headshots

Again, there is nothing to add. Discover about three safehouses, so that more enemies appear on the map. Also, try to change the weapon (or select a soldier with an appropriate one) that can kill an enemy with a single headshot (ordinary rifle needs two shots) (picture above).

Destroy Enemy Quad Drones (x4)

A very easy challenge, you just need some patience. The quad-drones are flying all over the map, and there are many more than 4. Just make sure that your squad-mates remained at the starting point and they are not destroying the robots. Find 4 quad-drones and destroy them (picture above).

Eliminate Enemy Personnel (x15) with Explosives

The challenge is onerous due to the fact that you have very few explosives. It's best to leave your men at the starting point. Check if the soldier you control has explosive grenades (not EMP nor smoke). If not, switch to the next. If no one has them, then begin to throw yourself off the cliff (you must press the jump button) and after killing your men check if the new ones have the appropriate grenades.

Next, just walk around the map and kill enemies with grenades (picture above). It will be good to search three safehouses first, as after that more enemies will appear in the streets.

Eliminate Enemy Personnel (x5) by exploding Vehicles

There are seven vehicles on the map. All are on its borders. At the beginning it's good to locate all the vehicles. After the mission has started, run right, in a street leading up. You'll pass the first two vehicles (picture above).

Keep running down the same street. When you stop going up, look at the vehicle parked on the right (picture above).

The street turns to the left, so follow this path and go through the gate. You'll notice two vehicles standing near one of the safehouses (picture above). Go inside the safehouse, but don't go upstairs. Instead, exit through the door on the left.

Go the only possible way. When you cross the second footbridge over the chasm, immediately look left behind the rocks. You'll notice the last but one vehicle (picture above).

Keep going further, sticking to the right side. When you go behind the low building and look right, you'll see the last vehicle (picture above). Knowing the places where the vehicles are, search the three safehouses, so that more enemies appear in the streets. Next, when you're fighting with them, position yourself in such a way as to force them to get closer to a vehicle or go around it. When they start doing that, shoot at the vehicle until it explodes. The more soldiers you will kill with one explosion, the sooner you'll pass the challenge, but you can also kill just one enemy with one exploding vehicle. Repeat this action five times.

Extract the HVI in less than 60 Seconds

The closer the safehouse where you'll find Karma is to the extraction site (picture above), the smaller the chance that you won't pass the challenge. Therefore, it's good to choose an appropriate safehouse by searching three others earlier (look at the map in the mission description to discover where all of the safehouses are). Even so, you should have no problems as long as you play on Recruit level, sprint, go around opponents and don't get lost along the way.

Find the HVI in less than 90 seconds

One of the most difficult challenges in this mission, a good knowledge of the map will be useful. Try not to waste time on fighting (of course, pass the challenge on Recruit level).

Immediately after the mission has started, order all your men to stay at the starting point. You should run right and down the street in front of you, up the hill. When you pass the red vehicle on the right, immediately turn around to the left and enter the building (picture above), and then the next room.

Once you've searched the place and finished off all enemies, exit to the balcony, which is exactly in front of you. You should notice a footbridge - jump out of the balcony (picture above), but don't step on it, instead turn right in front of it and start running down the street.

By the wall of the building on the left you should see a hanging carpet (picture above). Right behind it there are stairs leading to the door of the second safehouse filled with carpets, while in front of you, slightly to the right, there is an entrance to the third safehouse. Visit the second one (you need to go up the steps from the other side) and immediately go back to the front door. Then, go to the third safehouse and run up the stairs in front of the entrance.

After searching the third safehouse immediately switch to any of the soldiers who are stationed at the starting point. Sprint to the left, along the rocks. Stick to the left border of the map, but when you see the fourth safehouse (picture above), enter the tunnel on the right (which is just below it). You can throw a grenade into the left window along the way.

Go out of the tunnel on the other side and turn yourself to the right, go up the stairs and through the door on the right. Eliminate the enemies you can see and the next ones in the next two rooms. In the last room, on the right, you will find Karma (picture above), whom you should free as quickly as possible. If you didn't delay, the challenge will be yours.

Complete the mission in "tactical view" only

Immediately after the mission has begun and after you've started controlling any of the soldiers, don't do anything - don't move, don't shoot, don't look around, just press the change view button to go to tactical view. Don't turn it off till the end of the mission. If your people are in any building and the safehouse the icon doesn't disappear, point at it and issue the command again.

You will be playing this mission through similarly to the way presented in the mission description in the guide. The key is to quickly search the three safehouses, before the streets start swarming with enemies. Wait until the second squad comes and have it go to the first. When they join, command them to search the first out of three safehouses close together (the one on the right) (picture above).

Immediately after searching the first safehouse give the order to search the second one (first picture above). As the target, point the far end of the building. Once the second safehouse is checked, have your men quickly head for the third (second picture above). You have to make it before the streets are filled with enemies, otherwise you will have a really hard time.

After checking all three safehouses go back to the starting point - order everyone to go there. Only after the two units are in place (it doesn't matter if new came in the place of the killed ones, or if your men came here from the other end of the city), command them to storm the fourth safehouse (picture above). If you mark the enemies standing by the windows, your soldiers will definitely search the safehouse and find Karma.

All that's left is for you to take her to the extraction site (picture above). Do it quickly and order all men to cover Karma, you can also point at their targets for them. Karma should run to the target all the time - if she doesn't stop, she'll easily reach it.
