Endings - conditions | Decisions, consequences, endings CoD: BO II Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Naturally, the campaign ending will depend on the decisions taken throughout it, but not all decisions have such influence. Three events are absolutely essential, the rest doesn't matter:
- Did Menendez manipulate Woods?
- Is Menendez alive or not?
- Is Karma alive or not?
It is worth keeping in mind that in order for Karma to survive, each of the conditions below has to be met:
- Saving Karma at the end of mission 06: Karma or by completing strike-force mission Second Chance
- Completing three strike-force missions: FOB Spectre, Shipwreck, I.E.D. before completing mission 07: Suffer With Me
- Completing the strike-force mission Dispatch before completing mission 08: Achilles' Veil
- Killing Harper, so that Farid survives
- Admiral Briggs can't get killed
Three of the conditions mentioned at the beginning of this section give eight different combinations altogether. Two endings are repeated, so there are six endings together. All endings are presented in the next two sections. The first section shows what can happen after you've captured Menendez and the other what happens after his death.
