Mission 07 - SUFFER WITH ME | Decisions, consequences, endings CoD: BO II Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Decisions in the mission
Menendez's manipulation
At the end of the mission you will have to make a decision that will affect the game ending. The target you're to shoot is not Menendez, but Alex Mason (picture above). The details are below.
Menendez successfully manipulates Woods to kill Alex Mason
If you shoot the target in the head, it will have negative consequences for the plot. Alex Mason won't survive, which is pretty clear when you look at the hole in his head (pictures above).
Menendez doesn't completely succeed in manipulating Woods
If you kill the target, for example, by shooting twice at the legs, it will have better consequences for the plot, as Alex Mason will survive (pictures above).
Consequences of this and the previous missions
[AFTER CAPTURING NORIEGA]
Interrogating Kravchenko
CIA memo
The two decisions you took in 03: Old Wounds and 04: Time and Fate missions will be important in the middle of this mission. When Mason and Woods seize Noriega, the scene ending will differ depending on what you did in the previous missions.
If you thoroughly interrogated Kravchenko and found the CIA memo, Woods will hear Kravchenko's words in his head, namely that Menendez has people even in the CIA. He will tell Mason about that and Mason will remind you of finding the CIA memo in the cocaine bunker (picture above).
If you didn't thoroughly interrogated Kravchenko but you found the CIA memo, Woods will remind you of the letter pointing at Mason (picture above). Mason will say that something bad is going on here.
If you thoroughly interrogated Kravchenko but you didn't find the CIA letter, Woods will hear Kravchenko's words in his head, namely that Menendez has people even in the CIA. He will tell Mason about that and Mason will nod his head (picture above).
And finally, if you neither thoroughly interrogated Kravchenko, nor found the CIA letter, Mason and Woods will have no reason to suspect anything (picture above).
