Valheim: Comfort Valheim guide, walkthrough
Last update: 02 June 2021
From this page of the Valheim game guide, you will learn what Comfort is, how it affects your character, and how to increase your comfort level.
It might seem that a person trying to survive in the hostile world of Valheim won't care much about living conditions. Nothing could be further from the truth! A roof over your head, a campfire and provisions are not enough for your character's complete happiness.
How does it work?
The comfort level (Comfort level) of the environment your character is in affects the bonus they receive after Rested. Buff lasts 7 minutes by default, increases health and stamina regeneration, and each comfort level increases the duration of this effect by 1 minute. At the time of writing this tutorial, the maximum comfort level that can be achieved is 17, allowing you to extend the duration of reinforcement (Rested) up to 24 minutes.
How to increase?
Some of the basic "luxuries" that go into making a character comfortable in Valheim include a campfire and shelter (walls to keep out the wind and a roof to keep out the rain). In addition, there are several other items you can put in your home (e.g. leather, furniture) that will further enhance your comfort level.
Here's a list of all items and objects that affect a character's comfort level in Valheim:
- Campfire: 1;
