Don't forget about food

Even if you cannot die from hunger, it is still important to eat regularly. Food affects your maximum health, even if temporarily. The amount of received HP depends on the type of the meal and accumulates along with the total amount of eaten food.

You can eat up to 3 meals, which have to be different every time.

Have storage space for everything

There are many types of items that you can gather and amass. Unfortunately, the carry capacity of your character is limited. This is why it pays off to have chests which will store your loot. To not get lost, have separate chests for different types of items.

Explore your surroundings cautiously

There are a lot of different enemies to encounter when exploring the map. The farther you travel from the starting point, the more difficult opponents you'll encounter. For that reason, don't be too cocky and constantly watch your surroundings. This way, you'll lower the risk of meeting potentially dangerous entities.

Gather all encountered resources

Crafting blueprints are unlocked by gathering resources needed for their production. For that reason, pick up every new resource that you encounter along the way. This way, you'll be able to craft more and more advanced items.

Make use of special skills

A trophy is received for defeating each boss of the game. You can offer it on the sacrificial stones near of which you've begun the game. This way, you'll get access to special powers that improve your (and any companion found nearby if you play multiplayer) statistics temporarily.

One character can have one ability, but you can change it when at the sacrificial stones.

Make sure buildings are stable

While constructing, the individual segments of the building will have different stability. It is marked by colors that light the given object. If the color is red, it means that the segment will be destroyed soon.

Repair your equipment before every expedition

A tool is subject to wear and tear when using it (defined by the bar shown below it) When its durability goes down to zero, you won't be able to use it anymore. For that reason, if you're planning a longer expedition, repair all possible items before embarking on it.

Trolls can be useful

Trolls are one of the most powerful types of opponents - they can kill with two accurate hits. Nevertheless, you can make use of them. Their strikes can be used to cut down trees and mine metals - all you have to do is to bring it to the desired location and provoke attacks.
