Important areas on the map
First chamber
You will find yourself here after entering the Necropolis. You can assist Motley and other Children of the Endless Gate in obtaining a password for the whisperlock (Guni) or you can save Talira Kyo and other Memorialists by participating in a battle.
Talira Kyo will offer free rest and password if you helped the Memorialists.
Corridor with gifts
There are many containers with treasures here - shins, Heavenly Submission oddity and Candiru bonded item.
Terminal for choosing tombs
It's protected by a whisperlock - you can obtain the 'Guni' password ("The Caretakers' Riddle" quest) or you can help the Memorialists in killing all Children of the Endless Gate.
You can input four digit combinations and use them to travel to different tombs. The list of destinations is in the map description.
Motley offers free rest if you helped the Children of the Endless Gate.
Starting area
You begin the exploration of The Endless Gate here.
Banners
You can interact with them to unlock shortcuts, but you'll strengthen Inifere.
Area where you can find Inifere
Meeting with Inifere is a part of the "Endless Horror" side quest. You can convince him to close The Endless Gate or you can have a difficult fight with him.
Kiyatawa is also here. You can talk to her about her murders. If you'll attack Inifere she will join the battle and fight at his side.
Exit from the tomb
You can return to the first area of the Necropolis.
Exits from locations
M12 Exit to: Valley of Dead Heroes.
M14 Portal to: Miel Avest (choose the first action to open the large door).
The above map shows three most important areas of the Necropolis - the entrance location (you will visit it after entering the Necropolis in the Valley of Dead Heroes), the Endless Gate (they are related to the side quest Endless Horror) and the First Castoff's Tomb (getting there is required to complete the main quest On the Builder's Trail and to reach the portal to Miel Avest).
In the first chamber (M13.1) you will witness another confrontation between the Children of the Endless Gate and the Memoralists. You can give aid to any faction you want - you can help the cult members in learning the password to the Necropolis or you can save the Memoralists by murdering all cult members.
One of the most important places in the Necropolis is the terminal that controls the teleport (M13.3). By default it is unavailable. In order to disarm the whistlelock that blocks access to it, you must complete the Caretakers Riddle quest. After unlocking the terminal you can start moving to the tombs you want by selecting them from the list (it contains only the tombs you know) or by manually entering four-digit combinations. The list of the tombs and codes that lead to them can be found at the bottom of the page.
Resting place in the Necropolis
Ask Motley if you can rest here
You can rest in the Necropolis after you solve the conflict between the Children of the Endless Gate and the Memorialists. If you helped the cult members in obtaining the password, you can talk to Motley (M13.3) about the rest. It will be cost free.
Talira Kyo will agree to provide you with a free rest
If you helped the Memorialists and you murdered all cult members, speak to Talira Kyo. Ask her for rest, it will be free of charge.

List of combinations (codes) for the unique tombs in the Necropolis
Important! The below combinations can be entered manually or selected from a list. The second option is available only if the character knows the combination, for example from a note or from a conversation with a NPC. You can also let the terminal select a random tomb. Sadly, in most of them you won't find anything interesting.
1254 - Marcysa's tomb related to the side quests Severed Child and Endless Horror. Here you will find Twisted Metal Merecaster and a portal to the Endless Gate.
1535 - Phoenix's tomb related to the side quest Phoenix's Wisdom. You can look at the object shaped like a head and you can speak to Phoenix.
2413 - Ronos Cai'Sul's tomb related to the side quest Severed Child. Here you can participate in a short conversation with Silver and you can check the archives as part of the mentioned side quest.
3431 - First Castoff's Tomb. Here you will find the portal to Miel Avest which you must use in order to complete the main quest On the Builder's Trail. Check this tomb as the last one.
3543 - Tomb with an instrument. You can receive information how to get to it from the merchant Tantalum from the Valley of Dead Heroes. Use Concentration and Perception in order to tune the instrument. You will unlock new behavior options and you will receive EXP.
4135 - Empty. Take a look at two large objects by the wall - one of them will yield the Floral Merecaster.
4221 - Choi's tomb related to the side quest Severed Child. You can see a giant stone pillar in it.
4443 - Another empty tomb. If you've visited a sufficient number of tombs, the party may encounter Hiro. Talk to him in order to obtain the Circulative Merecaster. In case you haven't encountered him during your visit in tomb 4443, continue exploring the rooms (random, as well as named ones) until he appears in one of them.
5143 - Oddwald's tomb related to the side quest Severed Child. Here you can speak to Oddwald and obtain Electrostatic Merecaster.
You'll encounter a strange being in one of the tombs
A certain number of visited tombs (including random ones) can end up in meeting Silver. It should be mentioned that visiting a tomb means taking a look at the graves found inside. In most cases, a single tomb contains around 5 or 6 graves. Click on every encountered grave, as well as read the tablets (only some of them have one). Once you've managed to encounter the being, use all of the dialogue options and allow him to leave. Moreover, you can return to Valley of Dead Heroes and speak to Tantalum (M12.8) to tell him about the encounter, but this is a completely optional step.
Continue investigating the graves until you find the Phylactery
Continue your journey through the tombs until you encounter a disoriented Silver. As previously, use all of the dialogue options and move on. Additionally, talk to Tantalum to give him a report from the encounter.
Continue exploring the tombs until one of the graves yields a Phylactery, an item sought by Silver (beware that this is a completely random event).

Choose your reward
Visit one more tomb to encounter Silver again. Use the opportunity to hand over the Phylactery - the being will transform into Husk , while you'll score 40 Experience Points and one of three rewards:
- Gravitational Overseer, a medium range weapon dealing physical and relativistic damage, as well as inducing the bleeding effect for three turns;
- Image Projector - a cypher with an area of effect attack creating whirl of horrifying illusions that deal mental damage to every enemy in range;
- A new skill level in Lore: Machinery
