List of access codes to unique tombs in Necropolis
While exploring the Necropolis, your party will encounter a terminal that is protected by a whisperlock. Once the safeguard is removed, the terminal enables you to input four-digit combinations (codes) which give access to various tombs, used in some of the quests or containing various treasure. The list of the most important tombs can be seen below. The codes can either be input "manually" or chosen from the list - in the second case you need to find more details about each tomb, either through notes or conversations with NPCs.
Note! Aside from the tombs mentioned below, you can also enter a random grave - unfortunately, most of the tombs accessed using this method are empty.
1254 - Marcysa's tomb is connected to Severed Child and Endless Horror. Here you'll find the Twisted Metal Merecaster and the portal to The Endless Gate.
1535 - Phoenix's tomb is connected to Phoenix's Wisdom. You can take a look at the head-like object and talk to Phoenix.
2413 - Ronos Cai'Sul's tomb is used in Severed Child. Inside, you can speak to Silver and look through the archive to proceed with the quest.
3431 - The First Castoff's Tomb. Contains the portal to Miel Avest - using it is a part of On the Builder's Trail. This tomb should be the last to visit.
3543 - the tomb with an instrument. The code can be taken from Tantalum, a vendor from Valley of Dead Heroes. Use Concentration and Perception to tune the instrument. You'll unlock new dialogue options and gain some Experience Points.
4135 - Empty. Take a look at two large objects near the wall - one of them will yield the Floral Merecaster.
4221 - Choi's tomb, connected to Severed Child. There is a huge stone pillar inside.
4443 - An empty tomb. You may encounter Hiro if you've visited sufficient number of other tombs (including random ones). Speak to him in order to obtain the Circulative Merecaster. In case you haven't encountered him, continue exploring the tombs (random, as well as named ones) until he appears in one of them.
5143 - Oddwald's tomb, connected to Severed Child. Inside, you can speak to Oddwald and acquire the Electrostatic Merecaster.
The tombs below the Necropolis are also explored by Silver, a mysterious, seemingly malevolent being. You'll encounter him after visiting a certain number of graves (including those accessed randomly). Each tomb requires you to take a look at all graves present in the given area. In most cases, a single tomb contains from 5 to 6 graves. Click on every found grave and read the tables if these are present.
Once you've had the opportunity to talk to Silver, use all of the dialogue options and let him leave. If you want, you can return to the surface and visit Tantalum (M12.8) to ask about the being, but this is a strictly optional step.
Continue exploring the tombs until you've encountered Silver again. Use all of the dialogue options and consider returning to the surface to have a talk with Tantalum.
Finally, one of the graves should yield a Phylactery. Be patient, as the event is random - keep visiting the graves until you find the item.
Time to deliver the Phylactery. Enter a random grave - you should find yourself in the same tomb as Silver. Hand over the item - the being will transform into Husk, while you'll be treated to 40 Experience Points and a reward. Choose one of three items:
- Gravitational Overseer, a medium range weapon dealing physical and relativistic damage, as well as inducing the bleeding effect for three turns;
- Image Projector - a cypher conjuring a whirl of horrifying illusions that deal mental damage to every enemy who enters it;
- An additional skill point in Lore: Machinery.
