Meaning of "Health" stat in the game | Adventurer's Guide Torment: Tides of Numenera Guide

Health is one of the most important parameters you should control during the game. It determines how much damage a character can receive. Usually, your health points are taken by the enemies you face during a crisis.
When the health of your character drops to 0, they usually wake up in the Labirynth. It is a special sanctuary, a creation of the mind of the Last Castoff. In order to get out, you must reach a special teleport that will take you back to the real world.
If the health of one of your companions drops to zero, he will lose consciousness. He will regain it once:
- He is healed with an item or a skill,
- The crisis ends and you win,
- You enter a new location.
The last two last options come with a negative fettle Lasting Damage which lowers one of the character's main stats. The fettle will remain active until the next rest.
You can regenerate health by using consumables, ciphers and skills of your characters. Make sure that each of your companions has an item called Sprayflesh, which enables them to quickly heal during a crisis. You must also remember to regularly heal your party by resting. Each larger location in the game has places where you can rest. Resting enables you to regenerate health and all stats.
