God of War: Multiplayer / co-op - are they available God of War Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 19 August 2022
This guide page provides information on whether multiplayer and co-op are available in the 2018' God of War. This can be important knowledge for those who are looking for games for 2 or more players.
- God of War released in 2018 is distinguished by one important thing compared to all previous parts of the series - this time Kratos is being accompanied by his son Atreus during his quest. What's more, Atreus isn't a helpless character who wouldn't get involved in fighting - the boy can help his father win battles and his abilities on the battlefield grow as you progress through the game and gain new abilities and equipment.
- Unfortunately, despite the fact that the game's plot follows both protagonists most of the time (Kratos and Atreus may be separated for some time in certain scenes), there is no co-op campaign option, that is, with another player who could control Atreus. The character of the boy is always controlled by the artificial intelligence and it is worth noting that most of the time he copes well with this task. Atreus is not a "ball and chain", but can realistically help you to achieve successive victories.
- God of War does not have any other multiplayer mode. It is a 100% singleplayer production, that is, specifically prepared for a single player.
