God of War: A New Destination - Walkthrough
On this page of the God of War game guide, you will find the walkthrough of A New Destination quest in which you return to the witch's hut to try and revive Mimir. The following guide explains how to correctly complete the journey back to the witch's hut and where to meet the giant serpent.
Take Mimirs head to the Witch

Go down the stairs and open the purple chest. Go further down and open a small chest with silver. After a while you will reach a mystical gate - use it to get back to Brok's store (as a reminder, mystical gates offer mechanics similar to fast travel).

Now head to the boat and swim to the witch's cave. Dock at the pier and destroy the red crystals. Enter the lift and go up.

Once at the top, destroy another passage with the red crystal and defeat the enemies. You will find a purple chest with the fragment of the Muspelheim cipher inside - if you have explored the islands on the sea, this will be the last fragment and you will be able to explore this world.
You can find more information about Muspelheim in a separate chapter of this guide.

In this location, you will find numerous new secrets, which include the Nornir chest - if you want to 100% the game, look at the chapter devoted to The River Pass.

Once you are ready, go to the old well and climb it up. Head to the hut - a group of enemies awaits you here. There are some secrets to collect in the area. Head to the witch when you are ready.

After a successful reanimation, you will acquire a new companion - talking head of Mimir. Additionally, you will learn the real identity of the witch - it's Freya, Odin's wife!
Go to the Serpents horn

Head to the Lake of the Nine and go to the bridge. Use the lift to get to the horn.

Let Mimir talk to the serpent - the beast will move the temple and unlock the access to the Magic Chisel!
