During the walk with Iris in chapter 3 you will stumble upon numerous merchants in Lestallum. Some of them will offer short quests, in most cases requiring you to eliminate small groups of enemies. Those quests are very profitable, as in return you will be given discounts on their wares.

Van, Interrupted Again | Complete the previous quest. | Merchant: Prissock A quest similar to the previous one - you have to fight another group of enemies protecting an abandoned camp. Go back to Prissock with the wares. | 2500 EXP, discount |
Ace of Carapace | Complete "A Stroll for Two". | Merchant: Arms Vendor You have to fight a group of Bulettes, near the antenna. Go back to the merchant after the encounter. | 1500 EXP, discount |
Tails Spin | Complete the previous quest. | Merchant: Arms Vendor You have to fight a group of Spiracorns near the Cleigne river. Take their tails to the merchant. | 2000 EXP |
Sting Your Praises | Complete the previous quest. | Merchant: Arms Vendor An encounter with Saphyrtails. Take their tails to the arms vendor. | 4000 EXP, another discount |
On Hunt for a Harvest | Complete "A Stroll for Two". | Merchant: Furloch Go to Furioch's farm and speak with his grandson. Take out the beast located in the fields and collect green beans. Speak with the kid again and go back to Furioch. | 2000 EXP, discount |
Wild About Onions | Complete the previous quest. | Merchant: Furloch Head to the next farm, located to the east of Disc of Cauthess. Collect onions and deliver them to Furioch. | 2500 EXP |
Vegging Out | Complete the previous quest. | Merchant: Furloch This time you have to collect the item from the area located to the south of Cauthess Rest Area. | 3000 EXP, another discount |
Mind the Trap | Complete "A Stroll for Two". | Merchant: Veenon's Grandson Speak with the hunter. He will ask you to disarm several traps. | 1500 EXP, discount |
