You will find the cave near the place where the mission starts.

Use hunter vision to find the trail. It will become less visible from time to time but still it will lead you to the north (cold area), to the cave located near the mission starting point.

Use burning weapon to scare the animals.

Inside you will face two cave lions. Light up the spear or club. You can also use the bait to distract the animals.

The hunter is hiding in the small niche between the rocks.

Once you deal with the predators you can look for hunter's trail. You will find him on the higher ledge. He will be hidden in the small alcove in the rock, near the primitive bedding. Give him a green leaf. If you don't have one, search the purses in the cave.

Scare the tiger with burning spear or club.

Finally you must again defeat two predators that will appear in the cave. You shouldn't have trouble with the cave lion anymore. However, the saber tooth tiger is a serious opponent. Most of all use your strongest weapon and set it on fire in order to scare the predator. You should also use your animal pet to distract the tiger. He will run around the cave from time to time - use this opportunity to heal Takkar or your beast. Try to use the territory (higher places) to make it impossible for the tiger to perform deadly jumps. Once you get rid of the predators you can go back to the hunter.
