If you go to the northern areas of Oros, you will be exposed to constant cold symbolized by a special bar. If you remain on open area for too long, Takkar will simply freeze to death.

In order to increase protection from cold, you must bring Karoosh the Warrior to the village. This will unlock the ability to craft warmer clothes that will greatly increase Takkar's resistance. Further upgrades will completely prevent the possibility of freezing and it will allow you to remain in open areas for as long as you want.

In dire situation you can set the grass on fire.

Until then, you must remember to regularly warm yourself up. It is best to do it in camps or caves where you can set up a fire.

In extreme situations, when there is no fire source nearby, you can set huts or large grass areas on fire. This will allow you to warm up at least temporarily and reach a campfire.
