Path to Oros | Walkthrough Far Cry Primal Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Your first task will be to collect all the materials necessary to craft a bow. You can find them near the starting location, they are scattered in a relatively small area. To make the task a lot easier, you can use the Hunter Vision, which will highlight all the materials (which can be seen on the above screenshot). When you've collected all the necessary items, open the menu and create your new weapon - bow.
Note: remember about the Hunter Vision, which highlights all the things that might help you while tracking: it shows crafting materials, animal tracks and the animals themselves.
Afterwards, you have to use your newly acquired weapon. Goats, animals you must hunt, can be found a little further from your starting location. Try not to scare them off - move in a crouching position and don't get to close. Remember that you can track them down using your Hunter Vision.
After locating your target, try aiming for the head of the goat to kill it on the spot. Thanks to that you won't have to chase her through the area. If, however, you miss her head and hit her elsewhere, you can track her with the Hunter Vision - locate the blood trail and follow it to reach the corpse of the animal. Kill three goats and skin them - the meat you acquire this way can be later used to heal your wounds.
Afterwards, when you're done with the animals, head towards the marker. Get close to the campfire and lit it (the wood necessary to do so can be picked up along the way to the cave, as well as in the cave itself). You will now be presented with the opportunity to craft a mace. Do so and use the fire to set it on fire. Afterwards, activate your Hunter Vision and locate the Wenja tracks.
A relatively long, yet linear path awaits you now. Before entering the cave you will stumble upon a group of wolves - use the torch to either scare them off, or to set them on fire. If the torch burns out, you can reignite it by using animal fat (which should be in your inventory by now). Don't forget to examine the lair while in the cave, to get some free experience points.
Your journey will end in you falling into the water. Swim to the other side and get back on the solid ground, where you will meet Sayla.
