Basic information
Hillbilly is a killer who can be quite powerful. However, to use his potential, you need certain conditions and an open map.
- Name: Max Thompson Jr,
- Height: Tall,
- Terror Radius: 32 meters,
- Movement speed: 4.6 m/s (normal movement), 9.2 m/s (with chainsaw),
- Difficulty level: Difficult,
- DLC: None, available in the basic version of the game.
Power and perks
The power of the Hillbilly is quite simple - it's a very fast run with his chainsaw. If he runs upon a survivor during the sprint, the survivor will be immediately put into Dying State.
Unfortunately, this ability makes Hillbilly perform rather average on most maps. However, this ability works best in open spaces with no sharp turns. In the last case, the possibility of maneuvering is poor, so it is easy to run into an obstacle.
How to play Hillbilly?
The first and most important rule when playing Hillbilly is not to exploit his power. Activate it only when you are sure you will hit a survivor or want to move to another area of the map. Otherwise, you will only waste your time.
You must also bear in mind that Hillbilly doesn't have much ability to avoid being looped. Therefore, it is better to provoke the survivors to drop pallets and destroy them after. This will give you an upper hand in the game's final phase.
Surprising survivors by the generators is also an important part of playing Hillbilly. That way you will get the chance to knock them down immediately.
