In DBD you will find a total of three different currencies. Each serves a different purpose. On the following page of the guide, you will find descriptions of each of them.
Bloodpoints
The first are Bloodpoints. It is the most common currency, designed to advance characters and unlock items in the Bloodweb. You get them for every match you play, completing tasks from tomes or the free The Rift's track.
If you earn Bloodpoints from matches, you can get a maximum of 40,000 of them (10,000 for each of one category). Of course, we are talking about the base points. This value can be increased by burning Offerings before the start of the Trial.
The number of Bloodpoints you can carry is limited to 2,000,000. After you reach this value, you will not receive rewards for playing matches. However, if you acquire currency in other ways - for example, for a rank reset - it will be added to your account as usual.
Iridescent Shards
You will receive Iridescent Shards only for advancing your character to the next levels. Optionally, they can also be a reward for logging in regularly. They are used to buy original characters, perks in the Shrine of Secrets, and some cosmetic items.
Auric Cells
This currency is only available to buy with real money. It is used to purchase all characters, cosmetic items and Rift Tiers. The amount you will pay depends on the platform on which you have the game.
