Basic information
The Clown is a character with great capabilities in chases. However, it is poorly suited to put pressure on the entire group.
- Name: Jeffrey Hawk,
- Height: Tall,
- Terror Radius: 32 meters,
- Movement speed: 4.6 m/s,
- Difficulty level: Moderate,
- DLC: Yes.
Power and perks
The Clown has two mixtures - one that slows down survivors and one that speeds up the killer. He can throw them to get a certain effect. You are equipped with 4 bottles of each. When they run out, you can refill them. However, this will slow you down.
Clown has powerful perks that can be easily incorporated into many builds.
Icon | Perk | Effect |
Coulrophobia | The perk works on all survivors within Terror Radius and has the following effects:
| |
Bamboozle | Vaulting through a window is 5/10/15% faster and blocks the window for the survivor for 8/12/16 seconds.
Pop Goes the Weasel | When you hang a survivor on a hook, the perk will activate for 35/40/45 seconds. The first generator you kick during this time will regress by 20% of its current progress. |
How to play Clown?
By far the better mixture is the one that slow downs enemies. If you hit a survivor with it, they will scream, their screen will be distorted, and their movement speed will be reduced. When you throw the bottle, the effect floats in the air, so you can use it to cut off the road.
Do not use the yellow tonic for this. The time it takes to start working is quite long. In addition, if a survivor runs into it, they will also move faster.
Examplary build
Icon | Perk | Effect |
Dead Man's Switch | After hooking a Survivor, the perk activates for 20/25/30 seconds. During this time, if a Survivor stops repairing the generator, it will be blocked by the Entity.
Save the Best for Last | Each time you hit someone other than the obsession with a basic attack, you get 1 token, up to a maximum of 8 tokens:
Once the obsession is sacrificed, you can neither gain nor lose any tokens.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance. | At the beginning of the game, 4 Hex Hooks appear on the map. If you hook a Survivor on one of them, the generator with the higher progression will explode and lose 9/12/15% of repair progression. The survivors working on the generator will scream, but their position will not be revealed.
Discordance | Any Generator within a range of 64/96/128 meters, repaired by 2 or more survivors, is indicated by a yellow aura.
