Glyph Caretaker in DBD Explained
Glyph Caretaker is a survivor challenge which was introduced in January 2022 in Tome 10 – SAW. To complete this quest, you must commune with a White Glyph. However, the mission description itself doesn’t specify what exactly needs to be done. This can cause problems in completing this challenge.
The key item is a Pocket Mirror, which spawns on the map during a match. You will find it without a problem, because the game highlights it. You have to go for it and then take it to the basement to combine with a White Glyph. Watch out though, as Pocket Mirror is very fragile and can be damaged.
- Having this item in your hand, you can run, but you can't make fast vaults. You also can't fall from a height.
- Pocket Mirror will be destroyed if you receive damage from a killer. There is one exception – if you receive a knife hit from The Trickster and do not lose health, the item will not be damaged.
If you destroy Pocket Mirror, you will have to find it again on the map and pick it up. The Glyph Caretaker challenge will be completed when you connect with the White Glyph in the basement. You can then drop the item you are carrying. However, if you decide to take it with you, you will receive additional 25,000 Bloodpoints for escaping. At this stage, however, you will not have to worry about the item being damaged.
