It gives 1 Token for doing one of the following:

  1. Safe Hook Rescue;
  2. Taking a Protection Hit;
  3. Stunning the Killer carrying a Survivor.

Each recovery from Dying State consumes 1 Token and imposes Endurance status on the revived for 6/8/10 seconds.

At the same time, it increases the speed of healing dying Survivors by 100%.

You can instantly revive your companions with this build. Empathy allows you to track where the chase is currently taking place. Then you have a chance to go there and intervene if necessary.   2. Unlocks the Self-Care, thanks to which you can self-heal without a Med-Kit with 50% of the standard healing speed.

Your role is simple - you must prioritize the rescue of your comrades. Get them off the hook and heal them once they are safe.

Totems

Totems grants strong effects. Survivors have to bless them to use them. In addition, they are not permanent and the Killer can deactivate them. Build using their power accumulates multiple effects on a single Totem.

  1. Healing speed is increased by 40/45/50%.
  2. Unlocks the Self-Care, thanks to which you can self-heal without a Med-Kit with 50% of the standard healing speed.

  1. Scratch Marks don't appear

You receive an auditory warning looking toward Totems in a 45° cone within 8/10/12 meters.

You can choose any perk which isn't a boom. The Small Game suggested above is a good option for beginners, as it allows you to learn the places where Totems spawn. Once you remember where they may appear, you can switch to any other perk.

In addition, when you use a build depending on Totems, try to choose those that are not visible at first glance. That way you reduce the chance that it will be quickly located and deactivated by a Killer.
