Dead by Daylight is a popular asymmetrical horror game. As in many live service games, Christmas event will soon start even in this scary title, Bone Chill 2023 will begin next week. This guide will give you information about this. Here you will find all you need to know about new mechanics or a special currency.
DBD Bone Chill 2023
The developers have recently published a post on their official website with details of the Bone Chill 2023 winter event. This confirmed earlier leaks.
- The event will begin on 14 December and run until 4 January.
- There will be a new mechanic – throwing snowballs (which will be called Snowskulls in the game). Hitting a survivor or killer with them will have no effect. However, throwing Snowskulls will be needed to complete the tasks in the event tome.
- Snowmen will return. This time they will look decidedly scarier. They will be also calling out for someone to come near them. As in previous years, it will be possible to hide in the snowman. However, the developers' blog post indicates that this will involve some kind of risks.
- Event tome will be added. It will consist of challenges (these include activities added with the event) divided into 3 levels. For completing these missions, you will receive special currency, witch will allow you to buy cosmetic items, banners and badges.
- Two realms (Mount Ormond and Autohaven Wreckers) will be decorated in the Christmas spirit.
