This DBD guide page describes the most effective builds to help survivors quickly repair generators. From this page, you will learn what perks you need to purchase.
Sabotaging hooks
In the game, you can sabotage hooks to make it harder for the Killer to hook the victim. To wiggle free a Survivor needs:
- 16 seconds if they hit Good Skill Check;
- 15 seconds if they hit Great Skill Check;
However, this time can be influenced by Killers and Survivors perks.
Icon | Perk | Effect |
Breakout | If you are within 6 meters of a carried survivor, your character's moving speed increases by 5/6/7%. At the same time, wiggle speed is reduced by 20% (13.3 seconds).
Saboteur | While a Killer is carrying a Survivor, you see the aura of every hook within 56 meters of the pick-up location:
Unlocks hooks sabotage. The perk has a cooldown of 90/75/60 seconds.
Empathy | The perk reveals any Survival in the Injured State within a 64/96/128 meter radius.
Boon: Circle of Healing | After the Totem is blessed, within a radius of 24 meters a circle is formed, in which:
|
In this build, you help others free from the Killer's grip. Empathy allows you to keep track of the chase and get there. When a person is knocked down and picked up by a Killer, you can run up to them to give them a bonus to wiggle. In addition, you can also try to sabotage the hook that the Killer is approaching.
Stunning with a pallet
With this build, you can free yourself from the Killer - you just need to be knocked down near an upright pallet.
Icon | Perk | Effect |
Flip-Flop | In the Dying State, 50% of the recovering progression converts into wiggling progression (up to a maximum of 40/45/50%)
Tenacity | The perk has the following effects:
| |
Unbreakable | This perk allows you to recover from Dying State once per game and increases the recovery speed by 25%.
Power Struggle | It reveals the auras of the available pallets in Dying State. When you are carried by a Killer, reaching 25/20/15% wiggle progression activates the perk. Now you can drop the pallet in the area to stun the Killer and escape being picked up. |
The descriptions of the perks speak for themselves - when the recovery progression is sufficient and you are picked up, the option to stun the Killer will be triggered. The important drawback is that you have to lie on the ground for a while. However, this usually won't be necessary, as the killer will be searching the area to make sure there is no other survivor around.
