Sniper rifle can be a very useful weapon in the Days Gone. It provides effective elimination of enemies from a long distance and, in addition, can be equipped with a silencer. On this page of the guide we will show you how to get a sniper rifle.

The first way is to take the rifle from the enemy sniper. Sniper encounters may occur at random moments during the game. Enemy sniper is very easy to detect, as the laser sight of his weapon sends a red beam.

After the elimination of the sniper search his corpse to pick up the weapon. The disadvantage of this method is that the rifle taken from the enemy is not considered as the property of Deacon. You can use it as long as you handle it, but dropping it somewhere or making a replacement for another special weapon will mean that it's used up. Also, it cannot be stored in the inventory or cabinets of the game world.

The second way is to buy a sniper rifle from a dealer. Merchants in the game offer different models of sniper rifles. As an example of sniper rifle to buy we can speak about the M40, which is for sale in the offer of the trader that resides in Hot Springs camp. The rifle costs 2,250 credits, but unfortunately, you also need to get the second level of trust in this camp.

Upon reaching the iron Mike's camp, you receive the opportunity to purchase two new sniper rifles - C8 rifle for 2250 credits and Talon 7 for 3750 credits. Also, they will not be available for purchase from the beginning of the game. First you need to progress, respectively, the first and third level of trust in the iron Mike's camp.

For each purchased sniper rifle you can install a silencer. It should be a silencer for special weapons (Special Suppressor), which you can buy from the same merchants. Before buying, unfortunately, it again requires prior trust level from the residents of the camp.
