Days Gone: Copeland's Camp Days Gone guide, walkthrough
Last update: 12 December 2022
This page in our guide to Days Gone contains the most important information about Copeland's Camp. This is the first real encampment you will visit during the game. You will go back here regularly through the entire game.
Copeland's Camp is located in Cascade, the "starting" region. You will reach that place within the first few hours - during Drifters on the Mountain main mission where your objective is to follow one of Copeland's people.
When you reach this place for the first time, you will have to meet a few people, e.g. Copeland, the leader of this encampment. From now on you can go back here as many times as you want.
Copeland can give Deacon various side quests (6 in total). Deacon receives a message through the radio every time a new side quest is available.
The first important person in Copeland's Camp is the local mechanic. When you visit him for the first time, Deacon will receive a new bike (you lose the previous one during the prologue).
Sadly, the new bike is made out of the weakest components meaning that you will have to upgrade it. Manny sells bike parts. The most important component is Nitrous I. Thanks to this boost, you will be able to jump over small chasms and reach helicopter wrecks and other seemingly inaccessible places. We also recommend getting Saddlebags I to transport ammunition. Thanks to this upgrade, you will be able to refill your ammo supplies.
Both upgrades require you to reach Trust level 2 in Copeland's Camp. Complete all missions in this region and deliver Freakers' ears and other supplies to this encampment.
The merchant is another important person in Copeland's Camp. He doesn't sell any weapons but he offers ammunition, suppressors (try to at least install it on your pistol), and consumables. Sadly, all goods except ammo require you to gain a specific Trust level in this camp.
