The Division 2 is characteristic for its detailed visuals. The spectacular graphics, mixed with extensive, open areas makes the game quite demanding when it comes to system requirements. Nevertheless, the game is powered by the same engine as the first installment of The Division - if the first title worked well on your computer, the second installment should work as well.
Minimum - 1080p30
To be able to experience the game in 1080p with 30 frames per second, you need to have the following configuration:
- Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500k (3.3 GHz) / AMD FX-6350 (3.9 GHz)
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 / AMD Radeon R9 270 (2GB)
- HDD: 50 GB
Note: consider installing the game on an SSD, this will increase the performance and make the loading times much faster.
Recommended - 1080p60
To be able to experience fluent gameplay (60 FPS) in 1080p with all graphical options set to High, you need to have the following configuration:
- Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64bit)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.6 GHz) / AMD Ryzen R5 1500X (3.5 GHz)
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / Radeon RX 480 (4GB)
- HDD: 50 GB

Our configuration
The guide was created based on the PC version, while the game was played on the following computer:
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64bit)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2 GHz)
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (4GB)
- Disk: the game was installed on an SSD
Notes: most of the time, the game kept a steady framerate of 60 FPS, in 1080p resolution, with settings set to high/ultra. FPS drops happened sporadically, without affecting the gameplay.
