Does The Division 2 have PvP modes? The Division 2 guide, tips
Last update: 19 March 2019
The gameplay of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 mainly focuses on PvE - gameplay modes in which players face AI-controlled opponents. Nevertheless, the game also contains PvP modes (player versus player) that allow you to face a real target. You can learn more about them in the chapter below.
Skirmish
A variation of Team Deathmatch mode found in most online shooters. During Skirmish, two 4-man teams face each other on a small arena filled with various hiding places, pathways, and tunnels that enable the players to effectively surprise the opponent and add a tactical flavor to the game. At the beginning, each team receives 16 lives - after each death, the count is reduced by one. The task is to deprive the enemy team of all their lives.

Domination
Domination is a mode in which two teams face each other with a mission to take control of three locations on the map. Each team begins with a pool of 750 points - taking over the locations drains the enemy pool from points. The team that gets deprived of their points loses the match.

Dark Zone
Even if Dark Zones are not typical PvP mode, you'll surely encounter other players and/or teams. Some of them will be hostile and meeting them will end in a firefight, changing the battle into a PvP encounter.
