Pilot Hunter | Game modes Titanfall Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Pilot Hunter game mode is almost identical to Attrition. The difference is that in this type of Deathmatch points are scored only for killing enemy Pilots. The game goes on until the pre-determined points threshold is reached, after which an epilogue starts (it also starts when the limit is not reached until the appointed time). Every enemy Pilot killed means 1 point for your team.
Even though only killing Pilots scores points, it is worthwhile to chase some AI-controlled opponents, especially at the beginning of the match - this will significantly shorten the time needed to call in your own Titan, which is a great help in killing enemy Pilots. Note that you may kill enemy Pilots while using a Titan, in order to score points.
In this game mode, choose whatever abilities and kits that support your preferred game style. Because of the game's high dynamics and lack of strategic points (e.g. flags) finding a good spot to plant mines or satchel charges may be difficult - you had better take some grenades with you. A sniper rifle may also prove ineffective, since it is hard to predict where the enemy may be at the moment and you too should keep moving around. Auto Eject kit will be useful - this way the enemy will not get a point as soon as they destroy your Titan.
