Team deathmatch - this is definitely what the Last Titan Standing mode is. How is it different from the regular deathmatch? It differs in one important point - everyone starts not as a Pilot, but already in the cockpit of the Titan. The task of the player is to eliminate all of the enemy machines. The game is divided into two rounds, where each lasts for a pre-determined amount of time. The team that destroys the enemy mechs, wins the round. The entire match lasts until the pre-determined level of victorious rounds is reached (in this case, to 4). It is worth noting, however that after the machine is destroyed, you cannot call in another one. Also, the death of the Pilot is irreversible, which means no respawns until the next round starts. It is worth noting here that, if you fail to escape the destroyed mech, there is nothing in your way to prevent you from fighting on. Best from hiding.
Tactics
What needs to be remembered while playing in this mode? Surely to select your weaponry properly. What works great here is the 40 MM Cannon in the Burst Fire mode. An ideal combination of the high rate of fire, accuracy and the damage. The indispensable element is the Vortex Shield - there is not much point in starting a fight with the other Titans, without a shield, because it is mainly thanks to the shield that you will be able to alleviate the damage dealt to your machine. Because most of the players will be using shields, not necessarily the Quad Rocket will work, because it is too easy to block. It pays off to invest in Regen Booster and Auto Eject kits. The first one will ensure quick regeneration of the armor, after it is damaged, thanks to which your weak points are exposed for a shorter period of time. The second one will save you when you are cornered and will make it possible for you to keep fighting as a Pilot.
The second thing that needs to be remembered here is cooperation. You can easily run into a group of Titans as a lone wolf, and with high probability, you will be as easily defeated. A 1 to 1 battle can be really demanding and against two machines may often prove impossible to win. This is why it is important to cooperate, act like wolf packs. What works here very well is using shields alternately - while one of the players is using it at the moment, remain slightly behind and try to deal as much damage to the opponent as possible. As soon as his shield depletes, give him some time to regenerate and start using your shield to provide necessary protection. This simple tactic, if pulled off correctly, brings surprisingly good results.
