Evacuation (epilogue) | Game modes Titanfall Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Evacuation is not a separate game mode, but it is an interesting element nevertheless, which is present in some of the main game modes. The Hardpoint and Attrition are such modes. Evacuation takes place when one of the squads reaches the pre-determined threshold of points, or after enough time has passed. This is a moment at which the respawn option is no longer available, which is why you need to be extra careful then. Depending on whether you are on the victorious or defeated side, evacuation is a bit different.
As the victorious side
The spot that you need to get to is marked on your map. What is obvious, this is where the players of the opposing squad will also be going. Do not elbow your way right into the middle of the evacuation zone - instead,, lay low in a good spot and try to take out as many as possible, at a safe distance. Things are easier if you are sitting in the cockpit of your Titan - you can then attempt to destroy the extraction ship. You should watch out, however, if there are enemy Titans left in the battlefield.
As the defeated side
After the battle is lost, evacuation will be announced and a point that you need to go to, marked on your map. You should remember to stay away from the centre of the fights - try to move around the edges of the map and use the cloak when you are out in the open areas. If you reach the extraction point, still before the ship arrives, do not wait in the zone - you are exposing yourself to fire this way because you are not the only one going that way. It is better to wait a moment around and try to embark the ship at the right moment, right before the take-off. If possible, use the cloak. Additionally, if you are sitting in your Titan, remain in it for as long as you can and escape from it, also, right before the evacuation. Thanks to this, you will not expose yourself to enemy fire.
