Attrition | Game modes Titanfall Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Attrition is the most common multiplayer mode - it is a regular deathmatch. Two squads stand opposite each other and fight until they reach the pre-determined point threshold or, if the limit is not satisfied until time elapses, until the end of the allotted time. After the match ends, epilogue, in the form of evacuation starts.
It is worth noting that, in this mode, you receive points not only for Killing enemy Pilots, or destroying their Titans, but also for Killing the AI controlled enemies. The difference is considerable and the fun consists mainly in fighting against the player-controlled characters but, if there is someone who wants to run across the map and scrimp and save every little point, there is nothing to stop him. It is worthwhile to equip the Minion Detector kit then.
This mode is especially recommended for the novice players , because there are no bonuses for adhering to a certain playing style . This is why it is excellent for learning maps, practicing and mastering abilities.
Points for Killing enemies:
Minion (Grunts & Spectres): 1 point
Enemy Pilot: 4 points
Destroying a Titan: 5 points
