Workshops and Armories in Starlink Battle for Atlas Starlink Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 09 November 2018

In Starlink, apart from observers and refineries, you will encounter two other types of buildings. These are workshops and armories. In this chapter you will find a description of them and their functions.

Workshops

The workshops provide strong support for the technological development of the Starlink Initiative. As in the case of observatories or refineries, establishing cooperation with the workshop requires the completion of a specific task for the facility.

As soon as you get the favor of the workshop, the delivery of new modules to your ships will start. They will work as in the case of refineries. This means that you will receive another module after a certain period of time. What module you will get depends on the level of the workshop. The higher it is, the more unique modules will be produced in it.

Workshops are extremely useful if you are using a fusion of modules. They will provide you with a constant flow of new modules, which is independent of your actions. This means that you will not have to search the planets in hope of finding the right module.

Armories

Armories are responsible for defending the planet. Establishing cooperation with them is connected with completion of an appropriate task for the facility. Until then, they are passive institutions and do not show support from any parties of the conflict.

As soon as you cooperate with them, they will start attacking all enemy units in a certain area. The range of action depends on the level of the armory. The higher the rank, the greater the range of action. Surprisingly, upgrading such unit does not require anything special. Only standard raw materials such as electrum and nova are required for further expansion.
