Influence on planets in Starlink Battle for Atlas Starlink Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 31 October 2018
After making enough progress in the storyline, the game will unlock an influence bar on every planet. It determines the Initiative's and the Legion's power on a given planet. In this chapter, you can find information regarding the influence mechanic.
The number of owned constructions determine your influence on a given planet. The more buildings you control, the stronger your influence is. Of course, buildings give a different amount of influence. As for the Initiative, the best way to gain influence is to establish good relations with observatories on a given planet. These buildings will give you a lot of influence. Establish good relations with every encountered observatory. Thanks to that you will gain influence in a short period of time. Captured ruins give you a small amount of influence, only 2% per a ruin. However, capturing all ruins on a planet will give you a rather good amount of influence points.
As for the Legion, its strength is determined by the number of Extractors, Imp nests, and a Prime's presence. Just like with the Initiative, every structure gives a certain amount of influence points. A Prime's presence is the most important for the Legion. That is why you should eliminate every Prime you encounter. More information on how to kill a Prime can be found in "How to defeat a Prime?" chapter. Remember that a Prime can appear on planets you have already visited. The game will inform you about that by displaying a message.
A Prime's presence on a planet is marked with the icon. Imp nests give the least amount of influence points. They are rather small and easy to eliminate. However, you can't ignore them. They make up for their low value by appearing frequently.
A planet's strength determines loyalty to one of the factions. The bar is divided into levels - you reach new ones by collecting enough influence points. The higher the level, the more support a given faction receives.
