What caused the outpost to disappear in Starlink Battle for Atlas? Starlink Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 23 November 2018
During your time in Starlink, you will either start collaborating or create your own outposts. Those objects, however, are not permanent and can easily disappear from the map. In the following chapter you will find information about why this is happening and how to deal with it.
The cause of disappearance of various outposts is simply their destruction. Each outpost has its own health bar. Once it goes down to zero, the outpost ceases to exist. The reason for that is an attack by the Legion or the Outlaws. Due to the fact that the majority of facilities have very limited defensive capabilities, they are not able to defend themselves for too long. Armories are the only exception here, as they have their own defense turrets.
Nevertheless, each outpost will send a distress call once it is attacked, requesting your assistance. It is a red circle that pulses around the icon of a given outpost on the map. You can then go and assist your facility in combat. Additionally, if you have an armory, the troops from it will also help you. This increases the chances of saving the outpost tremendously.
If an outpost you do not collaborate with asks for your assistance, then defending it will cause it to automatically join the initiative.
