You will cut back to Caire and, to avoid being crushed, you need to jump through the gap in the wall (the screenshot). It is best to climb up and, if necessary, kill the opponent (if you did not do that as Moira). In the room that he came out of, there is a Topaz (100 CP), and a Kafka Drawing on the wall.
Then, return to the exit and climb up the stairs (the fastest way is to avoid the blades - watch out and sprint ([ALT])). Upstairs, head towards the room with the gear and watch out for the enemies released from their cells.
You run into the first one right after you enter the first corridor - he jumps in from behind the window. At the end, watch out for the next one running in your direction, with an axe (also, watch out for the exploding goo, as you pass by).
Then, unbothered, follow two corridors and climb down the ladder. You can use the table here again and upgrade your weapon. In the next room, pick up the gear.
Head towards the mechanism now, in the main part of the prison. After you open the first door, watch out for the opponent behind the corner (the screenshot). If he turns back at you, you can eliminate him stealthily. Otherwise, try to push him into the spinning blades - if you dash by at the right moment, there is a chance that he will walk into them himself.
After you pass by the blades, to the right you find the mechanism and a big opponent, with an axe, to the left. The easiest way to defeat him is to use his small brains to let him see you, after which you step back behind the blades, to have him approach you. If this is successful, the enemy kills himself; if not, use the shotgun and explosive bottle and dodge from his attacks. If you do not let yourself be spotted, you can simply pass by the opponent and place the gear in the mechanism.
After you defeat the opponent, click the gear in place, which opens the gate ahead and... all of the holding cells. Now, you need to act fast and know what to do. Dash into the opened room and spin the device in the center. Then, turn the knob on the right to light the fire (the correct positioning shown in the screenshot). Thanks to this, you stop the enemies but, some of them, will most probably get past anyways. Be vigilant, especially when you are attacked by the opponent with an axe. Use the shotgun and explosive bottles to deal with the enemies. In the corner of the room, you also find a Green herb which may be highly useful.
As Moira, use the crowbar to force the door open and together with Claire, you will exit the building. Right past the gate, you can use the flashlight to discover a Kafka Drawing above the concrete passage. Once outside, go ahead and, after a while, you reach a gate that you can open.
