Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Description
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for PC, PS4 and etc. is another installment of the famous survival horror game series created by Capcom. It is also the continuation of well-received Resident Evil: Revelations which was originally released in 2012 for 3DS handheld console, and a year later was converted to work on stationary consoles (X360, PS3, Wii U) and PCs. The story takes place in a brand new site, and there are no characters known from the previous part among the main heroes. Therefore, we won’t meet Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield while playing. This time, we can play as Claire Redfield, known to all fans of the series, and Moira Burton, Barry Burton’s daughter.
The plot of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 for PC, PS4 and etc. is set between the events of the fifth and sixth installments of Resident Evil. The adventure begins as soon as the characters, who were kidnapped and stranded in a prison located on a deserted island, wake up.
While playing as Claire Redfield, the gameplay focuses on fighting against zombies (there is a new fast and powerful type of enemy); playing as Moira Burton we support our partner in various activities, providing her with medicinal herbs, flashlights, etc. The creators made it possible to complete the campaign either individually or in co-op mode; however, only the death of Redfield results in the words "Game Over" being shown on the screen. When designing the gameplay, the developers took fans’ requests into consideration, and made the game more focused on survival than action.
