Combat and unique places in The Sealed Gate
This is the last location of the game world with enemies. Before you start investigating it, you should use all available scrap yards and all parts of weapons to replenish your team's supplies and improve your equipment.
In this location it is best to play the two main battles separately. At the start of the first battle, do not move your team members too far into the map so as not to alert the next opponents (including the mech and the final boss) too early.
You will meet first mutants when you reach the main road. It is best to set up your team members near the wrecks of vehicles (only those offering full cover!) and inside the building on the left shown in the picture.
In the first battle the most serious threat may be caused by Brother Mark Luktar. This is a well-known mini-boss - he can shock the team members with the electricity (do not place them too close to each other so that the electric bolts won't jump to the next person) and try to possess them (stun the hero who is under the influence of mind control or move away from him). Fast elimination of this opponent should be a priority.
Other ghuls will also join the fights and the strongest of them is Sect Tank. It is worth trying to use Puppeteer Magnus' skills on the Tank, as always. A demon-possessed Tank can be helpful in attacking other enemies and distracting Luktar.
You can start the second battle in the further part of the map. Preparations are also advisable here. Team members should be deployed inside the ruins of the buildings - as shown in the picture (preferably set them up on the first floor) and in the next building nearby.
It's best to start the battle by attacking one of the closest enemies - Sect Pyro, Med-Bot or Mimir Z600. For these two robots, use EMP grenades or Circuit Breaker ability to temporarily shut them out of combat. Then use this peaceful moment to attack mutants. It is worth mentioning that the Mimir Z600 has a powerful cannon, not a flame thrower. Be sure to paralyze him when you notice that he is preparing to shoot.
In this battle, the most serious opponent to defeat is the final boss - the High Priest of Plutonia. She has the following attacks:
- Energy Attacks - Try not to place your team members too close to each other.
- Mind control - Stun/stop the demon-possessed hero or temporarily move away from him with the rest of the team.
- Ability to bring fallen allies back to life - This is the most annoying ability, especially as she can perform this action from a distance. The resurrected character won't die even if you kill Plutonia. You have to deprive the mutant of its health points for the second time.
Plutonia should be attacked by the whole team as fast as possible, especially that she hasn't got too many health points (36 points of health + 4 points of armor). ). Otherwise the battle may become much more difficult if someone from the team is possessed or if the defeated opponent returns to the living world.
The new Sect Tank will also take part in the fights and it is worthwhile, as in the previous attempt, to try to possess it with Magnus. The tank can effectively attack Plutonia with its rifle or stun her after firing the charge. Additionally, Tank will divert the attention of mutants and robots from the rest of the team.
After winning the second battle, you can optionally explore the area to the right. You'll find two Polis-Bots which, due to the fact that they guard completely different part of the map. This causes that they didn't join the combat.
After investigating the whole location, return to the place where Plutonia was. There is a passage to Eden as shown in the picture.
