This page of the world atlas of Mutant Year Zero has a detailed walkthrough for Garden of Jyko map. This is the final location of the Seed of Evil campaign. The team must face the ancient Jyko tree in order to prevent its further growth. This is not a classic battle with the final boss, as the tree itself is defenseless and must rely on enslaved defenders.

Enemies - Pod Wolf Mother (level 90), Pod Wolf (level 90), Tree Heart (level 90), Under Generation (level 90), Pod Rooter (level 90), Pod Tank (level 90), Pod Burner (level 90), Pod Jumper (level 90), Pod Destroyer (level 90).
Suggested experience level - 90.

Encounters and unique places in Garden of Jyko
Before you get to the places where the final battle takes place, you will have to participate in a smaller battle with wolves. The damaged slide presented in the picture above is a good position for the team - the wolves do not have ranged attacks. However, you need to remember that they can jump on the slide to attack the team.
Your priority should be to eliminate Pod Wolf Mother before the second turn ends - if you do that, the enemy won't be able to summon additional wolves. If you managed to deal with that enemy, you will only have to kill two regular wolves.
Garden of Jyko is located inside a huge dilapidated hall, which you will get after a long walk. This is where you will have the final battle of this expansion. Here are some basic information about the final confrontation:
- Jyko is a big tree and she has no attacks. She can only alarm the whole neighborhood - this will happen if you attack one of her hearts.
- To defeat Jyko, you have to destroy two Tree Hearts. One of them is presented in the picture above - one is on the left and the other is on the right side of the hall.
- The destruction of both hearts will automatically end the whole battle. We don't recommend rushing through this fight. The hearts are very durable (42 health points and 4 points of armor) and your team itself can be defeated if there are too many enemies nearby.
Sect Tank is each of the hearts - the best way to start a fight is to use Puppeteer skill on that enemy. If you fail, immediately retreat from the hall and try to eliminate incoming enemies.
If you succeed at taking over the Sect Tank's mind, the best tactic is to order the Sect Tank to attack one of the two Pod Spawners. Order the team to attack the cocoons - you want to face as few enemies as possible. The only exception is when someone from your team is in grave danger and, e.g. lost the cover, was surrounded or knocked to the ground by the second Sect Tank.
Keep fighting until you manage to eliminate both Sect Tanks and destroy two Pod Spawners. Pod Jumpers are the biggest threat, especially if one of them manages to, for example, jump on the upper floor of the building. Depending on how the battle went, change the position of teammates, use the Puppeteer skill again or use fragmentation grenades to collapse floors.
Attack the hearts only when all the main threats described above are neutralized. Since each of the hearts is very durable, try to attack them one by one, and use as many characters as possible (2-3 team members and maybe an enemy controlled with the Puppeteer skill).
Destroy both hearts to end the battle automatically. This also marks the end of Seed of Evil campaign - this will happen even if there are enemies in the hall.
Can I keep playing the game after defeating Jyko?
Yes, it is certainly possible. Once the giant tree is defeated, the game will play the final cut-scene. After that, you go back to the main menu. You can choose to continue the game.
In the meantime, the team has returned to the Ark, but nothing prevents you from revisiting the locations in this expansion. If you go back to the Garden of Jyko, the tree won't be there. You won't find any enemies you didn't defeat during the final battle - they died with Jyko.
