How do I start the Seed of Evil DLC campaign in Mutant Year Zero? Mutant Year Zero Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 30 July 2019

On this page of our guide to Mutant Year Zero we suggest how to unlock the new content of Seed of Evil expansion set. New maps and stories can be accessed in three different ways, each of which is described below.

Regardless of the variant you choose, make sure your team has at least level 65 at the beginning of the expansion set. If you have played all the battles and explored the optional locations, you should easily meet this requirement or even gain a few additional levels of experience. If you visit new maps too early, you may have problems defeating high-level opponents.

Option 1 - The best: Complete the main campaign

This is the recommended way to start Seed of Evil. Complete all mandatory maps of the main campaign and reach the location of Eden. After using the last computer in Eden, the game will end (ending credits will appear). After viewing the credits, a new campaign will automatically start.

Option 2 - Travel to the Mausoleum of Suburbia location

Consider this option only if youre in a hurry to witness new content or if for some reason you cant get to Eden quickly in order to complete the main campaign - How do I start the Seed of Evil DLC campaign in Mutant Year Zero? - Game Guide - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Consider this option only if you're in a hurry to witness new content or if for some reason you can't get to Eden quickly in order to complete the main campaign. From the world map you can select the newly unlocked location called Mausoleum of Suburbia. This is one of the first new maps associated with the add-on.

Option 3 - Start a new game with a pre-made team

This option is only recommended if you have lost your saves from the basic campaign and do not want to complete it again - How do I start the Seed of Evil DLC campaign in Mutant Year Zero? - Game Guide - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

This option is only recommended if you have lost your saves from the basic campaign and do not want to complete it again. From the main menu of the game, you can choose the campaign of the Seed of Evil add-on. You will receive a pre-made high level team, but it will not be as strong and as personalized as if you were using your own heroes, which can be developed during the basic campaign.

The beginning of the expansion set doesn't block access to the basic campaign locations. What's more, new strong opponents and a new loot may appear on some old maps. It's worth going back to well-known locations to find new treasures and get valuable XP.
