Battles and unique spots of Mausoleum of Suburbia map

Although this is only the first location of the add-on, you can expect quite demanding battles with high-level opponents right away - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Although this is only the first location of the add-on, you can expect quite demanding battles with high-level opponents right away. Two battles can be classified as mandatory and the third one as optional.

The first combat may occur shortly after you start exploring the map and march straight ahead. You have to defeat opponents of unknown names, but with well-known skills.

As Pod Tank (a variation of the well-known Tank) has to be defeated in this battle, it is advisable to try to use the Puppeteer skill. You can try up mind control at the very beginning of the battle by sneaking up with one of your team members near Pod Tank or only after this strong opponent has set off on his way to the heroes. In addition, we advise you to check your armor before the battle. You must have at least one armor to make a team member immune to the charge of Pod Tank and knockdown.

A serious threat in the first battle are the opponents called Pod Jumper, who, like the Enforcer robots from the basic campaign, can use jet packs and make long jumps - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

A serious threat in the first battle are the opponents called Pod Jumper, who, like the Enforcer robots from the basic campaign, can use jet packs and make long jumps. Review heroes' abilities and select the Knee Shot skill for at least one of your characters. This skill can temporarily ground Pod Jumpers. This will make it easier for you to kill him or focus on other targets during this time.

Pod Burners will also participate in the fights - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Pod Burners will also participate in the fights. They are the slowest enemies approaching your team. However, you shouldn't underestimate them. They use firearms with burning rounds that can set fire to your characters - this effect will last several turns. During the battles with them, try to use full covers - you will reduce the risk of getting hit.

Despite the above-mentioned unique feature, they should be the least problematic. We suggest you leave them at the end, unless you manage to flank them and take a shot with a 75% or 100% chance to hit.

The second battle takes place in further parts of the map after reaching the location where Elder resides - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

The second battle takes place in further parts of the map after reaching the location where Elder resides. It's worth noting that Elder is not in danger. You don't have to worry that he'll die, for example, if you don't get rid of the enemies around him fast enough.

In this battle, Pod Rooter will appear for the very first time. This enemy can "send" roots that hold your characters in place - it's quite the equivalent of the Knee Shot skill that you already know. Unfortunately, this attack has a large range and ignores obstacles. Be aware that at least one hero will be "stuck" for several rounds. Try to place your subordinates in places where they can shoot enemies effectively (even if they can't move). We suggest you take care of the Pod Jumper pair first and start the battle by using your Knee Shot skill on at least one of them.

After winning the battle, don't meet with the Elder immediately, because it would automatically end the exploration of this map. It's worth looking around first.

Optional third battle can take place at the right end of the map (if we look from the starting spot) - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

Optional third battle can take place at the right end of the map (if we look from the starting spot). This is an area where mutant wolves called Pod Wolf and one Pod Burner can be encountered.

Fighting tactics are very similar to the confrontation with mutant Zone Dogs from the main campaign. Try to attack the wolves from as far away as possible and eliminate them one by one. An interesting idea may also be to withdraw to a nearby ruined building. You can use a ladder or jump to get to the first floor of the house and shoot wolves from there.

While exploring this map you may come across a Garage Key - it will be on the bench shown in the picture above - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

While exploring this map you may come across a Garage Key - it will be on the bench shown in the picture above. There is also a chest nearby - it contains a perfect Grogg Helm, which increases the movement range by 4 and makes your hero immune to critical hits.

The garage is located on the opposite end of the map and is shown in the attached picture - Mausoleum of Suburbia | World Atlas and walkthrough for Mutant Seed of Evil DLC - World Atlas - Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden Guide

The garage is located on the opposite end of the map and is shown in the attached picture. Inside the garage there is a first-aid kit and a box with a unique Noatun LP50 weapon. This is a powerful gun that can be used to destroy covers and throw back enemies (it is a guaranteed effect, without % chances to occur).
