On this page of the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy guide, we explain whether TPP is the only perspective the player can use. Thanks to our guide, you'll find out if an FPP view appears in the game.
Guardians of the Galaxy is a production that is supposed to depict events from a third person perspective (TPP), i.e. behind the controlled figure or the controlled vehicle. This is what it looks like for almost the entire game and you don't have any means to change it to first-person perspective.
There are some minor deviations from this rule:
Milano Captain's Bridge, is a location where FPP is utilized for a short while, i.e. after sitting in the captain's chair. With this mode on, you can talk to other Guardians and NPCs, but no other actions can be performed.
The game can in short single scenes switch the camera to FPP view, e.g. when the controlled character has to squeeze through a very narrow passage or use the control console - in the latter case, it allows you to easily read the information displayed on the device screen.
