This page of the guide to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy contains a walkthrough for Mission 2 (Busted). The following walkthrough advises on what to do during the search of the ship, how to cooperate with Nikki as well as what options you have during an important elevator meeting with Ko-Rel.

Important choice - searching the Milano by the Nova Corps

This is your first important choice in the game. You must decide what to hide before the Nova Corps search the Milano. You can:

1. Hide the creature- You'll receive a smaller fine at the end of Chapter 2, but you won't be able to upgrade the Milano later on.
2. Hide the tech- Your fine at the end of Chapter 2 will be increased by 1000 credits, but the Milano will be better equipped, making a space battle later on easier.

This decision is described in more detail in the Important choices chapter, on the page regarding Chapter 2. You don't need to think too much about this choice, regardless of how high your fine gets you'll still be able to collect enough credits to pay it off.

Follow Cadet Gold

After regaining control of Star-Lord you must follow Nikki to go meet Ko-Rel. You can choose any dialogue options you wish (or stay quiet).

There are a few QTE sequences awaiting you after the explosion - watch the shrinking border and press the button when it enters the small circle (it will change color to green). Move the left analog stick to the left to end up on a shelf with Nikki. At the end, press the indicated button in rhythm to hold on while Nikki is climbing.

Work with Nikki to reach safety

There aren't any battles in this chapter, you must go down a pre-established path together with Nikki. Approach an obstacle to lift it and get it out of the way.

In the area shown on the picture above you must push the big box to cover the flames. After solving this mini-puzzle look for the passage on the left, under the big yellow pipe. You can crouch and reach a secret area containing an Outfit: Nova-Lord - Star-Lord.

Later on you'll need to lift a heavy object once again to unlock the way forward through the yellow pipes.

Eventually you'll reach Nikki's Hideout as shown on the picture. Explore it to find a secret - Guardian Collectible: (Broken Translation Device). Talk to Nikki to progress.

Important choice - elevator ride with Ko-Rel and Nikki

Eventually you'll reach a door - open them to encounter Ko-Rel. The subsequent elevator ride contains the next important choice. Your options are:

1. Helping Nikki and taking the blame - To do this, you must choose the dialogue options on the right. If you've gained Nikki's trust, she'll secretly give you something - Nikki's Personal Device. You'll use it in Chapter 7 to unlock a secret area with two collectibles.
2. Support Ko-Rel - you must choose the dialogue options on the left. The protagonist will reveal that Nikki has a door-hacking tool and it will be taken away from her. You aren't rewarded in any way for doing this and you miss your chance of getting two collectibles in Chapter 7.

At the very end of the chapter you'll come face-to-face with Ko-Rel. The meeting's progress is influenced by your choice at the start of the chapter, specifically of what you chose to hide. The Guardians will be fined 7.000 or 8.000 credits, and collecting enough money to pay off the fine becomes their goal during the subsequent chapters.
