Friends of the Resistance
After completing the previous story quest, you will find yourself on board a starship in space. You have to open the galaxy map and select to travel to planet Takodana. Select Maz's Castle as your destination on the planet.
After landing, head towards the castle. Standing in the blue circle by the entrance will trigger a cut-scene in which you will meet Maz.
Your task will be to investigate the strange voices as Rey. You will reach a locked gate which needs to be opened by solving a puzzle.
Stay in the same room and focus on the blue terminal from the screenshot. You have to place the nearby objects so as to allow BB-8 to jump on them one by one and complete the mini-game after interacting with the terminal. After unlocking the room, head inside and pick up the large key, then use it to open the chest.
Mini-boss - FN-2199
After the next cutscene, you will need to escape from the castle. Once outside, you will start to encounter enemies. You can engage in open fights or use cover, but stay away from areas where grenades are landing.
A mini-boss will appear soon - FN-2199. He has his own health bar, but the fight isn't difficult. The most effective way to take down the boss is by attacking him with a blaster from a distance. Watch out for FN-2199's stronger attacks, which are indicated by small red circles appearing.
In the final part of the fight, you might need to wrestle against FN-2199 - all you need to do is mash the button displayed on the screen.
Friends of the Resistance - continued
After winning the fight and watching the cut-scene that follows, you will receive a quest to travel to D'Qar. Reach the team's starship and select D'Qar from the galaxy map. Specifically, your destination is the Resistance Base.
After landing in the resistance base, reach the first blue circle to advance the story. Head to the Command Centre building.
Starkiller Base
You will receive a quest objective to reach the Starkiller base. Leave the Command Centre and return to the heroes' starship. You have to choose the base from the galaxy map - it's in its western part. After the flight, you will proceed to the Queen Starkiller level.
Starkiller Queen - challenges
This level features 3 challenges:
- Rey's Escape - You need to discover that Rey has escaped through the Starkiller base. As part of this challenge, approach one of the big glass side walls in the main hall. In the distance you will notice Rey escaping, which is all that's necessary to complete the challenge.
- Rug Pull - You have to blow up the sniper bridge. During the initial fights, check out the bridge from the screenshot. Hold the aim button and find the spot where the hero will automatically start looking for a weak point. When you hit it, the bridge will collapse and you will win the challenge.
- Snowed In - You have to close the base, preventing Stormtroopers from returning to it. Choose Finn or any other character from free roam mode who can grab onto hooks. Find the hook from the screenshot in the main room. Latching onto it will trigger a cut-scene of trapping the group of stormtroopers outside and you will unlock the challenge.
Starkiller Queen - walkthrough
This level begins with a large battle during which you have to defeat 30 regular enemies.
During the battle, you can take advantage of cover, but stay away from it if you notice grenades flying towards you. You should dispose of the enemies wielding better weapons first.
During the battles, you don't have to stay in the first, largest room, but you can also reach side corridors to make it harder for enemies to surround the heroes.
Captain Phasma will initially hide in the central control room. She will leave it and start patrolling the area only after defeating the lesser opponents - her field of view will be represented by a cone and you should try to avoid being spotted at first.
Captain Phasma is impossible to defeat in traditional combat. Instead, you will have to prepare 2 different traps to weaken and enslave her.
Reach the room marked in the game, where you will find a portable power source. The game will mark various spots on the mini-map where you can use this object to prepare traps.
In the main room, you can use the power source to run the elevator shown in picture 1. This will allow you to use the elevator to the upper level and push large object (shown in picture 2) to create an ambush. The pushed object will automatically fall on Captain Phasma, and you don't have to wait for the enemy to approach the right place before dropping it.
Captain Phasma will send a new group of enemies to fight you, but defeating them is not a challenge.
The bigger problem is recovering the power source carried by Phasma. Get close to the boss and reveal yourself on purpose. Phasma will drop the object and attack - dodge, or switch to the other hero.
Quickly pick up the power source and move away from Phasma. Other possible places to set traps are located in the narrow corridors. Placing a power source in one of the slots will activate an electricity trap. Phasma will automatically re-enter it.
You have thus captured Phasma. Finally, you have to go with her to the central control room where she was previously hiding. Just follow it a short distance and don't go far away from it or it will stop.
