This page of our LEGO Skywalker Saga guide is dedicated to the final, fifth mission of Episode 8 (The Last Jedi) On the page, you can find a walkthrough for the mission and accompanying challenges. Our solution will help you with leaving Crait's outpost, fighting Kylo Ren as Luke Skywalker and escaping the caves as Finn, Poe, BB-8, and the remaining heroes (separate sections for left and right path through the caves).

Crait Danger

The battle continues in Crait Outpost. Head towards the marked blue circle to continue with the mission.

Your new task is to send a SOS signal. Reach the large container and choose a character that can use the interactive hooks.

Inside you will find a device that you can start pushing through. You have to push it towards the orange rectangle on the floor. This will allow you to use the console (using it means completing a minigame).

The next task is to help BB-8 reach the higher part of the outpost (as the droid cannot use ladders).

There is scaffolding in the area (screenshot 1) - grab it with the grappling hook, destroy it and build a springboard. BB-8 can jump on it and reach the upper level (screenshot 2) You can now access the blue terminal as BB-8.

Poe Dameron will appear in the distance and you may have problems finding your way to him. You've done all that there is to do involving the blue terminal.

You must climb in the area from screenshot 1 to reach the upper path. Follow the next corridors until you reach the blue circle shown in picture 2. Here, a new mission (Ground A-Salt) begins.

Ground A-salt - challenges

There are 3 challenges appearing in this level:

1. I Can Dig It! - fight your way through the crystal caves. Along the way, you need to choose the left path and build a Boxing Glove Drill (screenshot 1) The challenge is unlocked once you break through the crystal tunnel (screenshot 2)

1. . Knock-Knock! - activate the MSE droid to destroy the emergency exit. While crossing the cave, this time you need to follow the right path. Reach the second area on the right and then unlock the ladder on the left and use the orange terminal shown in picture 1. Activating it will lower the MSE droid shown in picture 2. Attach to the hook at its back for it to become mobile and unlock the path.

1. Tight Squeeze - discover the shortcut through the protocol terminal. This challenge can only be unlocked in Free Play mode , as you will need a protocol droid (e.g. C-3PO) and during the story mode playthrough, such droid does not appear.
2. Take the right path through the caves, use the first stairs on the left and find the protocol terminal from the screenshot above. Assume control over a protocol droid and interact with it.

1. Now switch to a different droid. You need to complete two actions. First activate the green terminal (picture 1) and retrieve Crait Service Tunnel Doors password.
2. Once you get the password, move to the nearby red terminal that has a padlock on it (picture 2) Choose the right password from the list and you'll unlock the way forward for the rest of the heroes.

Walkthrough - Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren

This is one of the situations where the group is divided into two teams, each with a different task at hand. By default, the game switches to Luke, but if you want, you can press the team change button and first complete the journey through the caves.

The most important thing about Luke's arc is that this is not the final battle with Kylo Ren yet. Your task isn't to attack Kylo, and you don't have to dodge. Instead, a QTE awaits you - you need to quickly press the buttons appearing on the screen. Each successful action will allow you to avoid Ren's attacks and drain his blue energy bar.

Each time the boss loses an energy bar, he will order the imperial troops to fire at Luke. You don't have to do anything , as the hero is invulnerable to this attack. Just wait for the boss to get close to you again and resume the QTE.

After Kylo Ren is completely weakened, the battle will end. If you haven't progressed with the other team,, now it's time to do so.

Walkthrough - Finn, Poe and BB-8

You don't have to hurry or worry about Luke's battle. Follow the path laid out by the cave to reach a fork in the road - both paths differ greatly when it comes to completed activities.

The left path will lead you to a place where you can construct a machine to get through the crystal tunnels. Destroy the surrounding objects and bouncing blocks will appear. You can build one of two projects, Mining Drill or Boxing Glove Drill (if you want to complete a challenge, choose the Boxing Glove) The drill has to be pushed and attached to the drilling machine.

There is a object near one of the walls (screenshot 1) Stand on the button marked in the screenshot to activate a small machine that can be mounted.

Deliver the new machine to the slot shown in picture 2.

You can now board the drilling machine . Unfortunately, you don't get full control of it. Just keep pressing up and it will destroy the obstacles in the way and dig out a tunnel. You've reached the end of the left path.

The path on the right will lead you to a collapsed tunnel. Use the stairs on the left to find an orange terminal . Completing the mini-game will unlock a stash with explosives, which you can push (picture 1) and drop down.

Jump down, build explosives and pull the lever shown in picture 2 to cause a explosion that will unlock the path forward.

A new path will open in the new area. The first option is to grab the hook from picture 1, thanks to which you will be able to use the ladder. At the top, you will find an orange terminal involving a minigame.

Once you're successful, the container will MSE droid will be lowered. Go downstairs and grab the hook shown in picture 2. The droid will be set in motion and will break through the passage (one of the challenges will completed this way).

The second variant involves examining the lower area and grabbing the hook on the right presented in picture 1. Build here to construct a blue terminal for BB-8 and use it.

Completing the mini-game with rings will allow you to build the missing fragment of the gate. Grab it (picture 2) and then use the handle to open the gate.

All paths converge in the same place at the end of the caves. You won't be able to get rid of the boulders until you've completed Luke's scene.

After completing the duel sequence, you'll receive the ability to control Ray and use her to clear the boulders using Force (screenshot 2) Unlocked exit from the caves means that the mission is completed.
