LEGO Skywalker Saga: Death - respawn spot and losing studs LEGO Skywalker Saga guide, walkthorugh
This page of the guide to LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga contains information about what happens after the hero dies.
Last update: 11 April 2022
On this page of the LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga guide, you will find information about the consequences of the character's death after losing the entire energy bar or falling into the abyss - loading the previous progress and possible loss of studs. In addition, we suggest how to reduce the risk of losing heroes, i.e. how to die less often.
- Heroes' health and ship energy
- Abyss and environmental threats
- Respawn on death and possible stud loss
Heroes' health and ship energy
The easiest way to die is to lose all health points. When traveling on your own, you have to pay attention to the hero's health bar (it appears on the screen only in a threatening situation, e.g. after being under enemy fire). By default, it may regenerate itself, but you can also pick up hearts "dropped" by defeated enemies. To avoid frequent injuries, try to:
- stay in constant motion,
- take cover (it is also possible to rebuild them if they are destroyed during fights),
- dodge - this is especially important if the opponents use strong attacks symbolized by red lines and circles,
- try ranged attacks that are safer than melee combat.
There is a method of unlocking additional health bars in order to increase the hero's vitality and his chances of survival. This is specifically about unlocking the skills from the Extra Health group. This technique has been discussed in more detail on the page Health bar - how to extend it? in the FAQ section.
When piloting spaceships, you must, for a change, monitor the energy bars visible at the bottom of the screen. Remember about:
- avoiding collisions with indestructible objects - these can be large enemy ships or asteroids, and "unplanned" collisions are the most common cause of destruction,
- reacting to attempts to track the piloted ship - you can perform barrel rolls in the air and dodge to the sides,
- momentarily leaving the combat area after the machine suffers major damage.
Abyss and environmental threats
In some locations and missions, there are additional risks in the form of chasms and environmental traps.
While jumping from a great height is not a threat for the heroes, falling into an abyss means immediate death.
In places with chasms, you should take special precautions:
- do not get pushed by opponents during the fights and be careful not to end up next to the edge in the heat of the fight,
- carefully plan getting to the next ledges - perform double jumps and use hang gliders (Scavenger class).
Environmental threats come in various forms, and they can be, for example, electrical discharges, as in the example shown in the picture above. Contact with them results in the immediate death of the character. You can reduce the risk of death:
- trying to disable the trap (e.g. by pulling the lever),
- looking for an alternative path - these can be, for example, small ledges above a trap, on which you can jump.
Respawn on death and possible stud loss
LEGO Skywalker Saga, like other titles in the series, is very tolerant of losing characters. A hero's respawn always takes place in the same place where you lost him. You don't have to worry about the progress, e.g. you will not return to the very beginning of a mission or a confrontation with a boss. You can immediately resume the activities you were doing before your death.
The only potential penalty for the death of the hero is the loss of some studs. Here, too, however, there are 2 facilitations:
- You can quickly collect the studs that will be scattered near the place of death. There is a good chance that you can get most of them back before they disappear.
- You can find the Fall Recovery setting in the game options. It works by preventing the player from losing studs due to falling into a chasm or coming into contact with an environmental threat.
