On this page of the guide to Immortals Fenyx Rising, you will learn how to complete the main mission, which is called Mean Goddesses. This is the last major quest that you will receive from Aphrodite herself.

This mission will involve entering a Vault in order to recover Aphrodite's Essence. This is one of the so-called essence Vaults. It is characterized by the fact that when you reach a checkpoint, you can exit the Vault, and your progress will be saved. Upon reentering it, you will start from the location of the last checkpoint which you have unlocked.

The Vault of Aphrodite is not far away, go to the marker shown on the compass. You should be able to see a great cave with a Vault entrance, with red smoke rising from the area. Once you are there, jump into the cave. Remember, if you want to complete the task in one go, you should properly prepare for this expedition by stocking up on a large number of potions and improving your character and equipment.

The challenge is much greater than in the case of previous Vaults that you have completed, which is why you should first finish one path before starting another. At the very beginning, go forward, paying attention to the chasms, then head to the left.

On the left side, you will encounter the first opponents, namely a group of harpies. Attack them with your weapons while in midair and parry their attacks to deflect them.

Watch out for the light green odour that is visible near a tree trunk. It is a poison that will inflict damage to your character if you get close enough. To get rid of the poison, you have to destroy the seeds. In this case, the seed is located on a column, directly in front of the platform on which you have to stand. Use Apollo's Arrows to guide an arrow into a nearby fire, and then set fire to the seed. This will get rid of the odour. Once you have accomplished that, walk across the tree trunk and keep walking forward.

Afterwards, on the left side, you will see a button, activating it will create a wooden box. Your task will be to transport the box to a new location, which is located on the right side.

Be careful at the bottom, however, as that is where you will encounter more poison. Continue moving to the right with the box, then put it on a platform with the symbol of a feather. This will unlock a burning torch.

Set up your character as shown in the screenshot, use Apollo's Arrows to guide an arrow through the fire, and then aim at the seed to get rid of the poison.

Your next task will be to roll a sphere to the top. To create it, on the right side, near the torch, there is a button that you have to activate.

After placing the sphere in a special location near the stairs, go back to the torch. Thanks to the sphere, the door will open, but inside you will find another seed. Shoot at the fire again and then aim the arrow at the seed to destroy it. Inside you will find a chest.

If you want to proceed further, you have to stand on the platform again. Use Apollo's Arrows again and aim at the previous torch, then direct the controlled arrow towards the seed. After destroying the seeds, walk across the trunk of the tree.

Now you have the choice to go left or right, initially, it will be best to go right. Go down the stairs and jump over the hole.

Next, you should notice a mini-maze, which is located a level below. Activate a nearby button to create a flaming sphere. You can control it with the power of Heracles's Strenght. Guide it towards the seeds to destroy them, then place the sphere in a special location that was previously blocked by the seed to create another sphere.

Use your Godly Power to control the sphere again. Jump to the other side if necessary. Afterwards, you need to roll the same sphere to a fire, which is located above, as far on the right side as possible.

After that is accomplished, the flaming sphere must hit the next seed. Steer the sphere towards the seed, so that you can get rid of the obstacle. A little further away, there is a special location for the sphere, but be careful of the chasms so that the sphere does not fall.

After placing the sphere, you will create a new sphere again, which you need to set on fire. The hearth can be found below. Once you have done this, guide the sphere to the last seed and then to the final special marker.

The final stage is to maintain a stable position on a platform and shoot the seed, which is located in front of you, with a flaming arrow. The torch is located on a platform that moves left and right.

Now return to the location where you saw two paths, one left and one right. Go towards the tree trunk on the left, the one which is not surrounded by poison.

There you will see a closed door, which you can unlock with a lever. When you pass through it, the door will close, and you will be attacked by enemy units. The room is almost completely covered in poison, you will only be safe at the door. It is worth fighting the enemies within this small area. If your health drops dangerously low, in every corner of the room, there is a fruit that will heal your injuries.

To get rid of the poison, shoot at a torch and guide the arrow at the seed that is in front of you. This will open a new doorway. Go through it and keep going.

Once again, an opponent is waiting for you behind closed doors, this time a Minotaur. To defeat him, provoke him to charge in your direction so that he hits a wall and becomes stunned for a brief moment.

Once the Minotaur is stunned, you can approach the torch on the left side and shoot at the seed to get rid of some of the poison. The second seed is located on the left side. Walk diagonally relative to the first torch to find the second torch.

After you destroy two seeds, another door will open, go through it and move on.

Stand on a nearby platfrom. A torch will once again start moving left and right. It is best to wait until it comes to a stop; when this happens, fire an arrow and direct it towards the seed.

Go towards the destroyed roots and then head to the left. This will be the last puzzle for you to solve.

Walk forward a bit until you see a torch. Turn towards the entrance you passed through, then fire an arrow and point it to the right side, towards the seed. The seed is located behind a ruined wall.

Afterwards, activate a nearby button. It will create a sphere that you will have to move towards the right side. This will deactivate the red barrier. Do not go through it yet, you will do it later.

Keep going forward, there will be a burning torch on your left. Going left will expose you to poison; you should first use Apollo's Arrows to fire an arrow to the right, in order to light a torch.

After you accomplish this, while standing by the torch, go down the stairs and enter the middle of the room, which has a special marker for a sphere. From there, you will have a better view of the newly lit torch. Shoot an arrow towards the new torch, then direct it high and to the left and aim it at the seed. Go back to the torch and set fire to another seed, which is located behind the fence on the left. It is worth placing your character as far to the left as possible in order to ensure that you will be able to hit the seed.

After that, go towards the destroyed seeds. There is another button there that will create a sphere. Direct it to a special marker, which is located in the room from which you shot at the newly lit torch. You will deactivate a red barrier again, just like before, do not do anything about this.

While going further, you will see another burning torch. The next location also contains a lot of poison. Guide one of your arrows through a flame and point it towards the seeds. One is located on the right side, and the other on the left, behind a few pillars.

After you get rid of the poison, go towards a button, activate it and roll a sphere to a special platform. While rolling the sphere, you will notice a chest; it is located on the edge on the right side.

Once you have placed the last sphere in the designated spot, you will have deactivated the last red barrier.

Now go to the other side and stand on a platform. Wait until a torch shows up in the middle, then fire an arrow.

Watch out for the walls that move left and right. It is best to wait until there is a gap between them to ensure that the flight of your arrows is not obstructed. Then direct the arrow at a distant seed to destroy it.

After destroying the seeds, go back to the red lamp and head up the tree trunk. You should see the shape of a hand now. Use it to climb upwards, toward a nearby platform.

When you get to the platform, you will create a fire. Point the arrow right there and then hit the seed.

While going further, you will see a warning that speaks of a great threat from an enemy, whom you will now have to face. This is the second boss, which is much harder to defeat than the tutorial Mikros. It is the mighty harpy, Ozomene. It is worth stocking up on better weapons and extra potions before starting the fight. A walkthrough of the boss fight can be found on a separate page of the guide.

After defeating the boss, head further toward the wind gusts. There you will find the essence needed to complete Aphrodite's quest. After leaving the Vault, go to the Hall of the Gods to transform Aphrodite and restore her to her true form. With this accomplished, you will have completed the main missions from Aphrodite.
