This page of the Immortals Fenyx Rising game guide contains a map which depicts the locations of all the chest types (normal, epic, guarded and night) in the Gates of Tartaros region.

In this region you will find 9 normal chests, 1 guarded chest, 2 night chests and 2 epic chests. Normal chests usually contain crystals and fruits/mushrooms, while other, more unique chests can yield new weapons and armour, as well as skins for the aforementioned equipment.

Normal chest - the cliff above the water [1]

A normal chest can be found on a cliff, near the red water. All you have to do is climb up or fly down to the chest and open it. It is unguarded.

Normal chest - north of the region [2]

Simply head to the north of the region, where you will find the next chest by a small wall. There is a chance that you might encounter some opponents, but they shouldn't be a threat to you at this point.

Normal chest - the guarded crevasse [3]

Another chest can be found near two hills next to a cliff. This hill is guarded by several soldiers of Typhon. Either defeat them or use Phosphor's Cloak to sneak by them.

Normal chest - the destroyed trees [4]

In the east of the region there are many destroyed trees, you'll find a chest right next to them.

Normal chest - the abyss [5]

The chest is near the mountain, above the abyss. Jump on one of the hills to reach the chest.

Normal chest - the main mountain [6]

The chest can be found near the main mountain of Tartaros. All you have to do is climb a little higher up the mountain, that's where you'll find the crate.

Normal chest - the guarded location [7]

The chest is located near a sizable enemy patrol in the south of the region. Fighting these opponents may prove to be challenging, so you might want to use Phosphor's Cloak, instead.

Normal chest - by the pillar [8]

Near the mountains, you will come across a chest near a pillar. Be on your guard, as the chest is guarded by several opponents, just like in the previous case.

Normal chest - the destroyed buildings [9]

In the western part of the region, there is a destroyed village. You will find a chest among the buildings. Make sure to keep an eye out for enemy patrols.

Guarded chest - the Gorgon and the Hekatonchires [1]

The chest is rather poorly guarded, since only the Gorgon and the Hekatonchires stand guard by it. You don't have to fight them both at the same time, because they are quite far apart from each other.

Epic chest - the underwater path [1]

We recommend jumping down from the highest point in the region, that is, from the peak of Tartaros. As you glide down, you will encounter a waterlogged cave. Dive into the water and swim to the other side. There, you will find an epic chest.

Epic chest - the cave and the Cyclops [2]

The only issue standing in your way is Cyclops guarding the chest. The chest itself is in a cave. Use Phosphor's Cloak or defeat the Cyclops, then head inside and open the chest.
