First, it is a good idea to initiate good relations with the press.

1. Meetings

Right after you come to your new club, you will be welcomed by the President of the club and the assistant. It is a good idea to seize this opportunity and not skip the meetings. During the meetings, you can learn about the functioning of the club, expectations towards you and you can specify the frequency with which you receive reports. Another thing is conferences with the media . Also here, you should attend the meeting and answer questions asked to you. Finally, you should see your co-workers who, for the duration of your contract, will be advising you on various matters.

2. Team meeting

After you come to your new club, it is a good idea to call the team meeting and check the squad. Analyze the players, from the perspective of tactic and their usefulness for the team. If you are starting your game in the middle of the season, it is a good idea to get rid of redundant players and plan on strengthening the team.

3. Scout report

A new club is a new scouting network. Players assessed as good for one club may be assessed as not good enough, in another one. It is a good idea to take a look at the list prepared by the scouts and check it paying special attention to players that are fit for the first line-up.

4. Subscription of news

After you start your career, or change clubs, consider reorganizing your mailbox to receive only the most important and the most interesting mail.

5. Check your coaching staff

With appropriate staff, you can intensify the training, or improve the scouting quality. Find out, in the first place, whom you need to hire and whom you can fire.

Selecting expectations has a great influence on how your position in the table will be viewed by the Board.

6. Selection of expectations for the season

This is a very important option. While selecting your expectations, you can raise minimum expectations that the Board has of you. Thanks to this, you receive a higher transfer budget and payment budget. However, this involves obligations, because you will be held accountable for your choices. If you promise to win a tournament, and you stick to the bottom of the table, in spite of that, do not hope for the Board's favor. Higher budget is higher expectations.

7. Select the team captain

At the beginning of the season, you can change the team captain. This is an important decision and it should be taken basing on such attributes as Leadership and Determination of the potential candidate. Just remember that selecting the captain may have negative effect both on the player himself and the rest of the team. During the season, you can still pass the function of the captain over to other players. To do that, you simply need to access Tactic -> Captains. However, do not do that too often. There is no need for that.

8. Organize a friendly match

After you have initially familiarized yourself with the team, it is time to arrange several friendly matches to find our how players do in the field. This will help you learn about the players' capabilities and make it easier to select the base eleven. Also, this is a good idea to patch up your budget. Also remember that you can organize a friendly match with reserve teams and U18 and maybe you find someone fitting for the base eleven.
