Last update: 28 July 2021
On this page of the Biomutant guide, you will find all the information about the character development mechanics.
The maximum level in Biomutant is 50. In Biomutant, as in other RPGs, players receive experience points for performing certain actions. This lets them gain new levels, attribute points, and Upgrade Points that can be spent on various skills. However, this is not the end of the character development - the players can also get Bio Points and Psi-points during the exploration.
Experience points - how to get?
In Biomutant, you need to earn experience points to level up, increase the level of your attributes, and earn Upgrade Points. Biomutant has two main sources of XP:
- Defeating opponents;
- Perform main/side quests.
Attribute Points
Every time your character gains a new level, you will be able to increase the value of one of your attributes by 10 points:
- Vitality;
- Strength;
- Intellect;
- Charisma;
- Agility;
- Luck.
You can find more detailed information about all the attributes available in Biomutant on the Statistics page.
Upgrade Points
When you level up, you will also receive one upgrade point that you can spend on unlocking additional Wung-Fu skills. Upgrade points in Biomutant can also be earned after reading the skill point codex.
