On this page of the guide, you will learn how to start with Exiles of Khorne.
Skarbrand the Exiled leads Exiles of Khorne. You will start the campaign in the north of the map. These areas are controlled by Daemons and creatures that serve Chaos.
Initially, you will be at war with the human nation, who surround your land from the east and south. The Slaneesh country is further down south, which you are also at war with. These are your first objectives. You should not encounter significant resistance. Remember not to conquer all settlements right away. It's expensive, and you won't be able to conjure new skulls out of thin air. Instead, secure only the key settlements, or those that will be at risk of taking over, and wait for your people to populate the rest on their own thanks to the Train of Destruction special mechanic (see more on a separate page: Unique Mechanics).
After defeating the first enemies, you can focus on the seemingly abandoned settlements in the east - of course, these are Skaven's lairs. Try to subordinate them.
At this stage, you will likely be surrounded by demons in the north and east - mostly Nurgle. They are neutral towards you. There is a small Slaanesh faction to the northeast. Consider conquering it.
Your western neighbor will likely be a country inhabited by the Warriors of Chaos. Behind it are the Seducers of Slaanesh, led by the legendary Lord N'kari, with whom you are at war. You should consider a preventive attack before they attack you.
Overseas, however, there are human countries that worship Chaos. You can subordinate them diplomatically or conquer their lands by force. Start your military expeditions to the other side of the ocean by defeating the Dwarfs who live the south-east of your lands and, as a non-Chaos race, are automatically at war with you.
The further fate of the factions living there depends on you.
