This page of the guide explains how to get started with Daemons of Chaos - Legion of Chaos.

You start out west on the peninsula between the Norsca clans. Legion of Chaos is the only faction that starts without a settlement. However, one is already prepared for you, you just need to defeat the army of the Empire. Then choose which god you will dedicate your capital to.

From the very beginning, you will be at war with the nations to the east, south and south-west. You should first deal with the enemies on the peninsula. Don't start wars with the Norsca clans that are neutral towards you, though. Instead, sign pacts and alliances with them. You will have enough enemies around you anyway.

To the south and southeast are the lands of the Empire and Kislev. You can expect attacks from humans and elves across the sea. Additionally, the armies of Kislev will attack you from the east sooner rather than later. This means that you have to quickly create two, and then three (or maybe even more) armies to be able to fight simultaneously on several fronts.

To get money for the military, invest in buildings that generate income. Each piece of gold matters at the beginning.

Try to move the war to enemy territory as quickly as possible. Go across the sea while securing the entrance to the peninsula at the same time. At the same time, strengthen your relations with the Daemons, whose headquarters are located north of your starting point, and subordinate your neighbors diplomatically and peacefully to make them defend your borders.
